ConocoPhillips asking City of Louisville for Building Plans Extension/New Tennis Facility

Last year ConocoPhillips pushed back phase one completion until 2013 of their research and global training center just off HWY 36 in Louisville.  This month they are asking the City of Louisville for another year extension, but this extension is for their final building plans to be submitted for review.

Check out this article just released from the Daily Camera discussing ConocoPhillip’s new request.

Another new Louisville project that I’m personally excited about is the construction of Colorado’s largest tennis facility just one mile north of the Conoco campus.  Check out their plans for development that include 21 indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a fitness center, pool, daycare, spa, etc.  If they decide to add platform tennis courts, I might just live over there.

Lots of new growth forecasted for the Louisville area over the years.  With the economy being a little sluggish of late, development plans are moving slowly, but I’m a big fan of Louisville and know others see it the same way.

As always, feel free to use my home search feature to see Louisville, CO homes for sale, and surrounding areas.
