The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is located just a few blocks from downtown Denver, CO, inside the scenic City Park. The museum features over ten permanent exhibits including the Prehistoric Journey, Egyptian Mummies, Expedition Health and Wildlife Displays. The Discovery Zone offers an interactive center geared towards children and families who enjoy hands-on learning.
The featured exhibit, A Strange Beauty, displays 62 large-scale photographs inspired by the museum’s exhibits. The Space Odyssey exhibit is accompanied by an in-house planetarium, which features several rotating shows in addition to the Phipps IMAX Theatre with multiple 3D features.
Denver Children’s Museum
At the Denver Children’s Museum there is no age limit on having fun! The museum offers a variety of interactive experiences organized into Playscapes. Each area offers a variety of interactive learning experiences aimed towards enhancing childhood development, such as fine motor or verbal skills.
